Women for Women International has been selected as one of two finalists in the running to become the chosen charity for the Financial Times Seasonal Appeal 2017. This amazing opportunity would be truly groundbreaking for Women for Women International and our work, helping us to enrol thousands of women onto our training programme next year.
The final decision is now in the hands of Financial Times global staff, who will be voting for their chosen charity between Monday and Friday next week.
We are reaching out to you, as one of our valued supporters, to ask for your help:
- Speak to any connections you have at the Financial Times and tell them about the crucial work we do to support women survivors of war. Inspire them to vote for Women for Women International by sending them Seve's story of survival.
- Share the news with your social media networks so even more people will know about the vote and encourage their friends at the Financial Times to support us!

Right now, women are desperately waiting for the chance to enrol in our programme and begin transforming their lives. Winning the support of the Financial Times would give those women the opportunity to take the first step to build a more hopeful future and more peaceful communities. You can make this happen by sharing this exciting opportunity today.
Together, we can shine a light on the women behind the news stories and change the world, one woman at a time. Your support means the absolute world to the women we serve. Thank you so much.
With my deepest gratitude,
Brita Fernandez Schmidt
