Although this course is suitable for complete beginners to Java, previous coding experience and/or basic computer literacy would be advantageous

The course will teach learners how to write code using Java. Java is a very popular programming language, used in software development.

Learners will be able to write and run their own simple programs from Week 1, with an emphasis on real-word examples and best coding practices.

• Printing to the screen
• Variables
• Handling user input
