First Steps Women's Centre has 13 staff members made up as follows - The Chief Executive, Finance Manager, Finance Assistant, Training & Education Co-ordinators (4), Childcare Staff (4), Transport Co-ordinator and Housekeeper.

Michael McGoldrick Chief Executive

Michael has been at FSWC since 2007. Prior to this he worked in Community Development for 9 years after taking a secondment from NI Civil Service.
Training & Education Co-ordinator

Carmel Creaney Training & Education Co-ordinator

Carmel joined the team in October 2016 and is responsible for the Life Skills courses. This involves coordinating courses, procuring tutors and supporting the tutors and course participants. Carmel is also responsible for the administration and organisation of all aspects of Centre examinations.

Amanda Boyd Training & Education Co-ordinator

Amanda joined FSWC in 2015 and looks after all things wellbeing! Amanda chooses the range of courses, coordinates the training, procures tutors and also supports the tutors and course participants. In addition Amanda also delivers the Tai Chi for Relaxation course.
Finance Manager

Marion Murphy Finance Manager

Marion has been at FSWC since 2005. Originally from Donegal, Marion has worn many hats at FSWC – Volunteering, Admin & Receptionist, Progression Officer & Finance Manager. Marion has also delivered a couple of “Flavours of the World” cooking classes at the Centre. Trying new recipes is her favourite pastime.
REAP Project Coordinator

Olivia Turley REAP Project Coordinator

Olivia joined FSWC in Aug 2023 and is responsible for our new employability programme, Reap. This programme covers a range of courses, from accredited courses such as First Aid to confidence building and 1-1 support.
Administrative Assistant, REAP Project

Tara Gilkinson Administrative Assistant, REAP Project

Tara joined the team in August 2023 as part of the REAP project which is a programme designed to help women take their first steps into employment. Her role includes being a point of contact for women attending first steps womens centre, assisting in addressing barriers to participation and providing administrative support for the REAP project and personal development programmes at First Steps Womens Centre.
Finance Assistant

Theresa Boyle Finance Assistant

Theresa became a volunteer in 2017, and has since gone on to join the staff as Finance Assistant and Pre-ESOL tutor. Beginning in September 2023, she will be undertaking a BSc in Community Development at Ulster University.
Transport Co-ordinator

Franco Donnelly Transport Co-ordinator

Franco joined First Steps in May 2012 after Volunteering for 1 year. He co-ordinates a very busy transport schedule.

Helena Elmoustaghit Childcare Leader

Helena joined the team in 2007. She was appointed Childcare Leader in September 2008.

Jacqueline Donnelly Assistant Childcare Leader

Jackie originally comes from Leitrim and joined the team in September 2012, assisting Helena in the smooth running of the Childcare.

Francisca comes from Portugal and joined the Childcare team in November 2022.

Giedre comes from Lithuania joining the Childcare team in August 2015.

Sonata Slajiene House Keeper

Sonata also hails from Lithuania. She joined the team in March 2007 and keeps the premises spotlessly clean!
